Cross Sumatra Journey

On 19 December 2010, I embarked from Jakarta on a cross Sumatra journey with three friends of mine. My mission was to arrive in Singapore without using any airplanes. We trekked with the elephants in Way Kambas, enjoyed sunsets in Palembang and Padang, rode on a motorcycle around Samosir - an island in the middle of Lake Toba, and eventually reached 0 km of Indonesia. The following photos and stories are the result of my adventure.

About:

I like to travel, I like to eat, I like to take photos, and I might have one or two comments in between. Someday I hope National Geographic will finance me to the Pyramids of Giza and Machu Picchu. Studied law but got lost among the regulations - prefer to be lost inside the forests instead.

All of the photos in this blog are taken by me, unless stated otherwise. Reblogs are welcome provided that you still keep my original link. :)
